"I Love You Forever" statuette

So this is a project I made for Christmas 2008 for my mom.  She cries like a baby every time she reads "I Love You Forever" by Robert Munsch, so I thought I'd try my hand at polymer clay.  This is the first thing I've made with it, and I think it turned out pretty good.  I used acrylic paint on it (which was REALLLLY fun-- haha). 

I wanted to paint it sort of messy, so it would be in the style of the book's illustrations, and I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out.
