I went away last weekend and grabbed 2 balls of cotton, and a hook, and this is what I came up with. makes doing dishes fun! (ok.. thats a total lie..um..makes it tolerable)
Quote

Ok "ORDER UP"

With white cotton and size h hook co2, 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook
2sc in each around (12)
sc, 2 in next around (18)
sc in 2, 2 in next around to last 2, sc in each.  (22)
repeat last row (30)
repeat last row(38)
sc in each around (38)
sc in next 3, hdc next 3, 2 dc in next sc, hdc next 3, sc next 6, 2hdc next sc,2dc,nextsc,2trb nextsc, 2dc nextsc, 2hdc next sc, sc to end..finish off

for Yoke, with yellow, work first three rows..finish off leaving long tail to sew on alittle off center.

have fun!...pancake to come!   let me know if I can help with ?s

I like it alot.  Do you, perchance, have the pattern that you used or was it just winged?

It's so cute.. I would never want to use it, thus making dishes even worse.  Hehe.. Smiley  Good job!

I always thought making dish cloths was just a waste of time. I didn't like using them cuz they were so bulky. This one doesn't look bulky at all, and it is absolutely ADORABLE! I so would love a pattern for this ( and the pancake .)

Any luck yet?  If not, could you maybe explain how you got the outside edge of the egg to look that way?  Is it just slip stitches and single crochets or did you do something different?  THANK YOU!!!  Grin

Congratulations! You'd definitely elevated the humble dishcloth to new artistic almost surreal heights... It's got me thinking...

Good Work!

i can't see the pancake either, but was thinking- using the egg shape for syrup laid over a circle with a little square on top would work.  great everyday gift for my mom or niece who hates to wash the dishes.
