AAAk , I totally forgot about these other two that were in my backpack!
This one is from yell0wbright, on my bonsai theme. I love the double layered effect - it has an old toned ink drawing behind, and a colored one on tracing paper up front.  Cool, huh?  Plus, a bamboo binding!

Next up, in my card themes, a very clever take: fifty -two pick up! I really laughed at this when i opened  it.

The glitter that is painted over the whole thing smells like pretzels (!!) which I'll bet everyone was chowing down on during the card game.
It came in a Japanese magic kingdom holder, very cool -

Thank you both artists very much.  I am happy with the cards!

Bacon-flavored pudding...now, THAT would surprise me.  -Walter

LOVE the Harley and Poison Ivy cards!!!

LOL yelling bird, I may have to check out that comic!

The bonsai tree is so pretty!  I glad you like the 52 pick up game, I had started to do Solitaire and dropped the cards... Roll Eyes  So I just went with it lol

As for the pretzel glitter...There are several diff 'flavors' of paint pens made by Elmer's.  I've found them at Wal-Mart and even once in a dollar store.  I love them!!!

the pet peeves card is hilarious because I LOVE having a messy desk, and also writing in books! I do hate those lift-and-peel things... she's right, they never work like they're supposed to.

Here is the sushi themed card that bethiej78 sent me.  It made me so hungry that I had to go out for sushi on the weekend.  Grin

It's hard to tell from the photo, but she pasted actual chopsticks onto the ATC.  Thanks again!

great cards...

is the yellow daffodil card torn strips of paper?  I love the background texture!

it's strips from my shredder Cheesy
I glued a whole bunch down on a piece of cardstock as flat as a could(with a lot of mod podge...) and once it dried, I rubbed it with a green ink pad to get the color. I would have used paint, but all I have at the moment is watercolors and I didn't want to ruin the texture of the paper.

I am going to make background paper using your method!  I love it!  I only have red ink now but sounds like it will work just fine...I have no idea what I did with my water colors...how can something like that disappear on my MESSY desk...

I hate those lift off things...

I also liked all of the cards that bluepaisan described, especially the bonsai...

I also am a huge Star Wars fan!

and, the sushi card is so realistic it made me very hungry for sushi!!

*smacks head* I forgot to post the sweet card tehbunnykins sent me!

She made me this adorable Birds With Hats theme:

And sent it in a fab note card:

tehbunnykinds, I don't know if you knew I loved Don Hertzfeldt, but I do! And I certainly got a laugh out of the reference.

Thanks again!
