Prettyinpaisly, I LOVE the squirrel!  Thank you so much.  I've had a special place in my heart for squirrels after living in Washington DC.  The ones who lived near the White House were ever so friendly and they loved chips with vinegar!  And thank you so much for the extras.  Though the slug gave me the creepies.

Sorry I didn't get to posting the ATC and thank you for not waiting.  This time of year is getting unbearable!  And I'm starting a drawing class tomorrow night that is scaring the daylights out of me.  Wish me luck, everyone, please!!

yell0wbright, that gnome card has such interesting texture. Did you draw it on a paper towel?

Maybe I can help answer this one. The card is made from fabric. The base of the card is covered in one type of fabric, then the oval is another fabric and I believe the gnome is paper. I'm not sure if the picture of the little house is printed on the fabric or if Yell0wbright drew it on.

It's such a beautiful card. Thanks again Yell0wbright!

Actually the card is made out of fabric pieces. That fabric is cool because it resists ink or paint on the pattern when you draw on it. Glad you like it. : )

I received a great Finnish ATC from blupaisan!

It is full of Finnish things  Cheesy On the left side going down we have:
yksi (one) The country of Finland
kaksi (two) Cross country skiers
kolme (three) Finland trees
nelja (four) The most important Finnish thing of all... Saunas!  Smiley
viisi (five) Beautiful flowers (Finland is cold and has no sun in the winter, but all the moisture and sun in the summer makes for beautiful gardens!)

Going down on the right side:
kuusi (six) Traditional Finn clad girls
seitseman (seven) At first glance I thought these were yummy cookies, but on closer inspection I believe they are Finland coins. But Fins do make yummy cookies so I will say these are cookies made to look like coins  Wink
kahdeksan (eight) "Suomi", it means Finland or the Finnish language
yhdeksan (nine) snow, cause it snows a lot in Finland
kymmenen (ten) Finland flag!

...blupaisan challenged me to spot all the Finnish things in the card, I think I did pretty well  Smiley Thank you blupaisan! This was a fun card to receive!

and I got it inside this pretty envelope/letter that has a Finland feel to it:

I love these cards!!  They are from Mun.  My theme was artists choice and they are just beautiful.  The bottom one is drawn with puff paint and the top one is mixed meia/collage.  Great job Mun!  Thanks again!  Kiss

wow - more great cards!  i love the vellum idea on the valentines card, and i'm impressed how many things you came up with for the finnish card, blupaisan!

i got two great cards myself today!!  the first is from terrabella - a beautiful card on my 'sewing' theme - which she says is her first fabric card - AMAZING!!!  i love the choice of fabrics - the blue and brown color combo is one of my faves!

next is my hiking card from blupaisan, but first look at the adorable modification she made to the notecard she sent with it.  i don't know how she figured out that i love lolcats but 'dis card is awesuhm' as they say:

and finally the actual hiking card itself, which is so great!!  i love the little hikers hiking up a hiking shoe!  so creative!

and though i couldn't get a good picture of it, on the back there is a decoupaged page from a book of different hikes - so awesome!

thanks to both my fantastic card makers - terrabella and blupaisan!
