yay!  there's the sleeping baby!  Grin

I'm so glad you like it.  Smiley  I went on a cross stitch ATC spree (that means I have a few more out there Wink).  I was so happy when I was able to find a little skunk to use as my pattern!  if anyone's familiar with the game Maple Story, then you may know this little guy since that's where he came from.

this is the original:

and I give credit to Boo, the person who ripped this sprite (and others).  Grin

and my eyeglasses card from gull, it's an altered playing card, which amazingly, is the first i've ever received!!! it has great texture this card, i suspect the layer she drew on is a rice paper of some sort?  either way, love!

I'm glad that it reached you, and that you like it!

It's mulberry paper, I believe.  And since I couldn't find my fancy-schmancy art pens, I used a black ballpoint...which meant tracing over and over each pair of eyeglasses to get the ink nice and dark and even on the soft, lumpy surface.  Still, the textured look is worth it.

Not sure mine qualifies as an altered playing card, since I only used the card for sturdiness, rather than as part of the design.

from blupaisan, an amazing altered playing card! The details on this card are incredible!

Yeah, the Borg card, though...now this is an utterly brilliant altered playing card!

I LOVE how a pair of glasses are in the word look!

Thanks!  You know, I wasn't planning on doing that.  But then I looked at the bubble letters, and saw that those O's just had to be lenses!

First off, from gossamer_gull -- typewriter/writing ATCs! I LOVE these so much!  And she sent two instead of just one.  I was seriously spoiled. Cheesy

Glad you like the typewriting cards!  I don't consider it spoiling, though.  It's more of a consolation prize for my having sent a bit late.  Wink

From kartiana, a nice hot cup of coffee!  Made with real coffee -- it looks great and smells even better! Grin

Oh, and apparently Kartiana's discovered a new way to enjoy ATCs:  Scratch-n-Sniff!

I agree--the Borg playing card is like none I have ever seen! amazing!

the crossstitch skunky is adorable--I love to crossstitch but never thought to make ATCs...

I definitely need a coffee ATC...I think I will put that down as a theme for March!

Inspiring month--so many ideas and new techniques...wow...

Hi all,
I got my card from Krafty Karasu yesterday and boy do I love it! I've been obsessed with dinosaurs since I was small but have never seen a cross stitched one before.
Here it is:

Check out those perfect stitches. Check out those bones! Gorgeous.

The cello card that I made for yell0w is an illustration. I use india ink then I watercolour painted the colours in. I'm glad that people like it!

seriously.  if anyone is into cross stitch, the site in the links has TONS of stuff you can use for patterns.  animals, food, items, people!  or even quilting.  or bead weaving (loom or square stitch).  Smiley
