Awwww, shucks, you're making me blush!  I did use a pattern though (one of the super old ones from my GMIL)...

The fabric binder covers are SUPER easy and quick!  They are one of the things my stepmom requests for gifts, she uses them for her school binders, helps her keep track of which is which... those and the singlet totes, which she uses to cart around her school binders, haha.
