OK. So here's my first suggestion.  Let me know how you guys like this one:

Make something from things you bought for under $5 from a Dollar Store

Maybe it's just me but I LOVE poking around dollar stores for wierd things you can make things out of!

Update!  This challenge has been officially accepted!  Go here to find out about it:

Dollar stores are awesome.  Especially in the Dollar Tree around here, so can even get craft supplies, even jewelry supplies.   Cheesy

I love dollar stores as well (my favorite is actually in the same shopping center as my favorite thrift store)!

So, I am totally up for the challenge!

Thanks for the good excuse to go to the dollar store! Grin

If I am caught up with all my swaps such that I would not be in over my head again when you start this, I would LOVE to be in on it.  If not, then I would love to see what everyone else comes up with  Wink

Dollar Tree is the best!!!  Are we looking at a specific timeline?  I'm crazy busy with end of the semester grading, but in two weeks I am absolutely free.

Yes indeed, dollar stores (like my lovely Dollarama), are quite fantastic. And so is this challenge... I may or may not actually participate (although it does seem like lovely motivation), but I will definitely enjoy keeping track of it!

I love this challenge concept!  I am sure it will take off.  Even when not participating, it will be fun to review what folks come up with.  Dollar stores aways intrigue me--I'm all for this idea.
