Sometimes I like to binge on the small alien toy things that come in those 25 cent machines at the grocery store. I have about 20-30 of the little plastic capsules they come in... any ideas? I tried sprouting seeds in a couple but didn't get it to work.

I've seen them made into Christmas ornaments.

Not to say that guys don't wear jewelry, but most of mine is macrame and won't fit  Wink
I do like the swap/gallery of the matchboxes and think I might try just decorating some in a random fashion.

you could make art! the diameter of them is like an inch right? paint inch circles on a canvas and glue the plastic thingees on top of them.

this sounds like such a fun idea, i may have to do it myself...time to start collecting the capsules [and aliens too Cool]

I've used them as travel sized containers for lotions, shampoos, etc.  I've also used them as a sort of sachet.  Just put herbs, baking powder, or potpouri in them, seal, tap a few holes for ventilation.  You could also use them for anything you would use a shaker for if you just tap out holes, if you could find or make a holder (egg carton, maybe...hmm).  Now for some reason I'm imagining a set of these being held in an egg carton, decorated as alien or dinosour eggs, maybe dragon eggs.  Cute spice rack!  I'm pretty sure they would fit in the carton, but I've not tested that just yet.
