I've recently started to watch Naruto (Just finally finished the first one. Those fillers were killer. Idk why I kept watching! However, on to Shippuden! Cheesy) and fell in love with his adorable cap he wears to sleep. As is becoming a tradition with me and animes I watch, I had to crochet it. I made it Thanksgiving day between dinner and eating pies. Everyone in my family thought I was making a black Santa cap until I got to the face. >.> Haha.

Reference picture:

My version! I debated between a crocheted ball or a pompom at the end, but I chose the ball because I felt it was more manly and I was making a "manly" hat. I espeshially love the toofs!:

A close up of the face. I absolutely love the nose and wanted everyone to see it, hehe:

Me wearing it. I was trying to go for the cute, sleepy, look, but I think I massivly failed. >.< Oh well, the hat is a little big, but I still love it:

Thanks for looking! Cheesy

Really awesome, you make me want to take up crochet again, but I've got too many projects waiting in the wings.  Wicked mad skills.

Given a cape, tiara and a strong cup of coffee, yeah, I could rule the world.

Thank you so much. And you should take up crochet again if you ever get the time. It's a super fun craft. Cheesy

I don't have an acutal pattern, I'm sorry. But I can direct you to this pixie hat pattern which is similar: http://crochet-mania.blogspot.com/2009/09/crochet-pixie-hat.html Just leave out the bobbles around the edge and add the face. I hope that helps a little.

Oh I love Naruto! I too am now on the Shippuden, some of the fillers were boring others were funny(like the one where Sakura, Sasuke, and Naruto tried to remove Kakashis' mask off his face lol). I always loved the hat Naruto wore to sleep and I love yours. You did a great job especially the cute little nose. I'm going to have tor take my try at this soon.

There will always be people who say mean words  because you are different, and sometimes their minds cannot be changed. There are many more people who do not judge others based on how they look or where they are from. THOSE are the people whose WORDS truly matter.
