Here is a tent that I made for a baby ferret that we are getting, her name is Missy. I thought she might like a tent to play in.

Here is the Tutorial, The areas in Pink are the pieces of the tent. I wrote it with experience in sewing assumed.

Materials: 1 Fat Quarter 20" Square. Some Bias Tape. Dowel rod or Bamboo sticks for Gardening.
Cut a circle or a slit in one triangle for the critters door, cover with bias tape.
With Right sides together sew each triangle to another until you have a circle of them, sew folded bias tape into edges to form the loops.
Sew the top closed.
Right sides together sew the bottom square on to the tent, the turn right side out through the door.
Put in your sticks through the loops, probably about 13" but measure first to be sure. I taped the top of mine together to hold them up.
This is my first one and it took about half an hour.
With the rest of the fabric I might make a hammock or a ferret carrier purse! I bought half a meter and only used half of that!
This was my first tutorial! What do you think? I hope its understandable.
