I've been making a TON of hats for Knots of Love lately, and really wanted to spruce up an ordinary seamless cap.  You can only adorn them with fur yarn so many times.  LOL!  Anyway, I've just started getting into beaded crochet...so here's what I came up with!  Hope you like it!

I like it a lot!  I've been wanting to try adding beads to crochet.  I may try it in a hat like this.

Is this your first time using beads in crochet? I have not done it yet, but I think it looks like a lot of fun, and a nice change of pace. And how awesome of you to get involved with crafting for charity!?! Thank you so much, someone very deserving will be adorning that hat I'm sure.

Thanks for the compliments!  Beading with crochet is sooooo much easier than I had built it up in my head to be.

This is actually the second item I've crocheted with beads.  Here is the other...

It is definitely a nice change of pace.  Sometimes you just have to branch out and try new things.  That's the best way of perfecting any craft.  Smiley

That's reassuring...I've been wanting to try, but was afraid.  Maybe I should take a stab at it.

It's a super cute hat!  You did a great job Grin Grin Grin
