i love personal swaps. i'm looking to swap my art or paper crafts for some re-usable fabric snack bags, fabric sandwich wraps, fabric paper towels, glass pendants, ephemera, or art books.

They are fantastic - it reminds me that I should try some more out sometime, as I know exactly what you mean by being a 'cyclical' crafter - that's how I operate too. I love the cat.

Wow, really neat. I'd try the zentangle thing, but my brain can't work with that many lines.

I think this kind of sketching is really fun, creative, and relaxing. I like all of them alot, but the first two and the last one are my favorites

I used to do this all the time as a kid... before someone decided to make a "kit" and make money off of it! My dad actually does "zentangles" all the time on the edges of paper, the back of envelopes, whenever he's bored. I've got to tell him there's a technical name for it now! He'll get a kick out of that. I think as a kid I picked up the habit from him.

Those are really beautiful and I've been wanting to get back into drawing myself. It's something I used to love doing so much... maybe this would be a perfect way for me to get started again.

I had never heard of zentangles before. Your drawings are beautiful. The more I look, the more I see. I'm inspired! Thank you!

OMG It has a name... i have been doing this since I was 4 or 5 on everything that I could get my pen on (my high school and college notebooks are filled with them) ... I recently made a Valentines day card for my swap partner in this similar style. What I usually do is flood the entire canvas insert secret messages. I absolutely love yours!
