This painting has been a 'work in progess' for me for AGES and Im happy to announce it is finally done!
I would LOOOVEEE to hear what you all think as I am still developing my paiting skills and am always wanting to hear what people think!

Unfortunately in the photograph you cant really tell that the hand is more of a true red, where the planet is more orange based with a little red in it. oh well, you get the jist of it here Smiley

Love the vivid colors! And I think it's a really interesting painting. Someone mentioned that both hands are reaching for the rose, but it makes me think that that they are working together to create the rose.

that is actually what i am going for, the creation of the rose. up close its really beautiful because there is some glitter and those phone sparkles around the rose giving it a wonderful swirling sensation, regretfully no camera of mine can capture them i dont think.

I do agree. In person it looks a lot better in my opinion because its actually a silk rose glue gunned in the middle popping out like its being created from the painted hands.
