Hope your okay Saturn Smiley

I'm done with one item but I need to make a nice pouch for it Tongue
I'm also pretty much set on what I'll make for the 2 other items, her extra bday gift and yet another little giftie for her son turning 5 Cheesy.... It's soon my mom's, my boyfriend, my cousin AND my FIL's bday too... I feel covered with Aquarius! it's a luck I love them.

And I'm having an early ultrasound tomorrow! Since I'm irregular a lot. like, 4 times a year for me, lasting 4-5 days. I know you're jealous!...But I always thought I wasn't fertile because of that... Anyway, apparently not, so I'm having a datation ultrasound. For Mariann the first due date was 2 weeks off, so I'm kind of hoping to get a cancer date instead of a leo one.

Yipes! This board is infectious! LOL

I got a new tool this weekend and put it to good use on Radmom's behalf! Woohoo! Hope you'll like it.
I just wanted to clarify, you only need to make a medium OR 2 smalls as a minimum. If you want to do more (and I probably will) then you can, but you don't have to knock yourselves out! (Hear that, sickies?)

Keep the commentary coming, ladies. I love seeing new posts!  Grin

Total off topic question for ya'll.....

Ok, ethics question. Is it bad to consider doing a binding on someone who drains you emotionally? I am not sure whether I work on my own fortitude or a deflection/binding regarding the other person.
I'm guessing it's probably best to work on my own fortitude.....and to wish the other person more whatever they are not getting.

Guidance greatly appreciated!

hawkeyes_girl  its ok to bind someone not to do you harm, so I would think that this would come under that. I always add in
" for the highest good of all concerned" into all my work, as a kind of insurance.

But i would suggest that if this person is an emotional drain it might be a useful heads-up for you to see how you are allowing that to happen.

Also a circle of protection is always good, A kind of "shields up" mentality.

Good points. I allow it because I work for the person and unfortunately I really like my job except for that aspect. This person doesn't like to accept responsibility or take any blame, and likes to dump it directly on my door or expect me to read their mind and fix everything without being made aware of the problem or issues!

Sorry, ramble.
Thanks! Grin

In other news, I am starting another little goodie!

Thought I'd drop in and say hi! I missed signups as things have been difficult here. Out of town, sick Hubby, and on and on. Miss you all so I thought I'd follow along.

Hawkeye's girl .. One thing that I do is a "mirror shield" exercise. Where I visualize a circle of mirrors around me facing outwards to reflect the negativity away from me. I lived with a psychic drain for a year. This came in very handy for me.

aww saturn don't you get sick too. i'm slowly getting over whatever it is i have. now if the cough part would just go away...

i do something similar to the mirror one that solitaire suggested. i use it a lot when i'm going to be around large crowds. i don't like crowds lol.

in crafty news, i took a break from crafting yesterday and decided to organize all my fabric. now it's all nicely folded, group together by color and in clear totes. so it will definitely be much nicer when i dig into it this weekend when i whip up something to put in maman's package when i send it out  Smiley

H_G: In one of his books Robin Skelton suggests making a convex mirror amulet (he used a polished spoon bowl or a fishing lure) to deflect exactly that sort of psychic drain. Consecrate it in whatever manner works best for you, and wear it out of sight against your skin. Remember that you are in control of your own will, and you have the power to turn away anyone who imposes his will upon you if you so desire. The fact that you are in a dependent position to this person means that you may at some level be allowing his or her emotional vampirism because you feel you have no choice. Simply asserting your own will and acknowledging that you do have a choice and you do not have to submit to this intrusion is usually all that is necessary to deflect it. A protective ritual will help to set that barrier within you, and an amulet such as a convex mirror, suitably charged with the force of your will, can help to keep your psychic barrier in place even when you're not thinking of it.
