Hello and Happy Holidays! Here are some pics of my gingerbread house. I had so much fun making it! It was my first attempt to do this since probably first or second grade and that was I think made out of gram crackers "glues" with icing to mil containers. For this, I used a recipe that I got off of the food network website that had dimensions for a ginger bread house found here:
http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/gingerbread-house-recipe/index.html

However, this recipe did not actually have templates (although it said it had them), so I used the dimensions to make my own.

I did also use various pictures from the web as well as a Wilton kit gingerbread house that was on display at a large craft store near by as inspiration for my cottage. Enjoy!

I forgot to add that the gingerbread recipe is also pretty tasty if you didn't want to make a house  Grin

Love the gumdrop path and the roof patterns!  The icing is very painstakingly perfect! Nice work!

It's not the easiest to get icing to go on straight, but it worked for you nicely with the roof! Good job
