ok so i know this is kinda impractical, but i want to make a bag to attach to my bike. assuming it stays out of the rain, what kind of yarn would work best? And of course, I'd have to line it, attach Velcro, etc...

Actually, one of the issues of Interweave Knits (Spring 05, I think) has a pattern for a bicycle bag.  The designer used wool, and the top had wooden handles.

Was it Interweave?  I thought it was Vogue [not this most recent, but the one before].  I know there's a bike bag [a really cool one] in one of the current-ish mags I have at home.  I'll check when I get home from work and will post what I find.
