My cousins, sisters and I got together to create this winter wonderland. It took about 6 hours from concept to creation. We started with a giant piece of cardboard and ended up with a scene of Santa's workshop surrounded by an igloo, hockey pond, ski hill and santa himself in his sleigh. We had a ton of fun making it and a huge mess in the process.

Here you can see the unwrapped presents going into the machine and coming out the other side all pretty.

Our hockey players on the pond:

One of the skiiers was "injured" so we had to make him a rescue team and gurney:

A closeup of the sugar cube igloo, penguins and polar bear:

Gingerbread Santa and reindeer:

And a close-up of the presents in his sleigh:

And last but not least our goofy gumdrop snowman:

In case you are wondering, the googly eyes are candy sprinkles! Thank you for looking.

This is soooo cute!
I had to laugh when I saw the "injured" skier  Grin  It reminds me of things my DS would come up with if he were building a gingerbread house.  That may be one of the projects for next year............

I like the machine that wraps presents, and I laughed at the injured skier. How creative!

WOW!  You make gingerbread-house-making seem like so much fun!  (usually the process seems very daunting)

I love the little vignettes, and the house is great, too!  wonderful work!

So many fun ideas, I can't decide which I like best, but the present-wrapping machine comes close. The injured skier - that's hilarious! Great work.
