My Winter Day Rose

I was making coffee this morning and thought hey I could make a rose out of a coffee filter right?  Sure can.  So while my coffee brewed I put this one together. 

Who needs real roses?  Mine last forever.

Thanks I love to paint and this gives me an excuse to use my watercolors

ha ha reminds me of a lovely day spent with a fellow craftster making bunches of these for her wedding!!!

I think we dyed tons in koolaid and then had everyone from grandma to neighbors making these!

Yours is very vibrant and colorful--watercolors would definitely make sense with the filters!  Beautiful and nice that you mixed having your coffee with crafting!

That's lovely!  Did you use the Martha Stewart tutorial to make the actual rose?

No I actually just winged it.  Is there a tutorial by Martha Stewart?  I love the show Whatever Martha with her daughter.
