my latest rag rug

Back story:  I started this rug several years ago for my new house.  When we moved it got put in a box, put on a shelf and forgotten.

Fast forward to 2010.  A new 50 projects caftalong to sign up for.  I added this to my list of things to accomplish for this year.  And guess what, it's my first completed project for the year.

This will be in front of my kitchen sink, for easy standing for all my kitchen chores.

The picture:



It measures 47 inches long and 30 inches wide.  Not my largest project, but definitely the longest in the making.

How did you make that, and out of what?  Is it crocheted?  I like it!

Yes, it's crocheted.  It's made from fabric strips that are tied together and then crocheted, just like yarn only thicker and a lot faster.
