Sooo my boyfriend likes to think he can do the Kermit voice.

He can't.

However, I figured that the repeated attempts, though terrible, obviously merited some kind of object or prop to interact with, and what better prop or object than Kermit the Frog himself! It was a bit of a pain in the neck, as I did everything by hand and his collar was probably the worst thing in the world, but here he is. I didn't use any pattern, just started cutting and sewing, and I think he came out pretty well, all things considered. He is a fully workable puppet, though I only attached a moving stick to one hand.

Kermit getting very into the drama of the scene.

Kermit has a friend! Aww.

My dad with Kermit. He was sad to discover that Kermit was going to live somewhere else, because now he has one less thing to annoy the dog with.

Alrighty, there's my Kermit! First time ever doing ANY kind of puppet making, and I did it all with green fleece, ping pong balls, some felt, some pipe cleaners for the arms, and thin foam board for shaping. Woo!

He is awesome!  I'm impressed that you were able to wing it and come up with such a cool puppet.  Good work!

Thanks guys! I appreciate the comments, and thanks for the "this rocks" hits!

He was fun to make, despite the fact that I really did have no idea what I was doing. When I was finished, I had a request from a friend to make one for her, and I was just like NOOOOO. ONCE WAS ENOUGH!!!

Of course, by this time next year I'll be like "Ooooh! I could have my own Swedish Chef!!"

*punches self in the face for even thinking it*

Hehe. Thanks again for looking!! Smiley
