So when I went to Fabricland on Boxing Day to stock up on Christmas fabric (50% off!) I found this awesome fabric with gingerbread houses all over it.  It instantly screamed "APRON!" to me, particularly since I had just made some really intricate Christmas cookies a few days before.  I found some red gingham fabric to accent it, a bit of vintage lace, and whipped up a pattern out of my head.

The apron sounds darling! (Can't see the pics, but the fabric choice sounds wonderful!)
I've got some Christmas fabric that I want to do an apron with.... thanks for the suggestions on accompanying fabric and trim!
Enjoy your apron!
Mimi!
