Grin Hi Every one! I'm alive!  Grin

Here are those socks I alluded to many moons ago. These are for my sister-in-law:

The pattern is called the "Dublin Bay Sock Pattern." You can find it by Googling or alternatively on Ravelry.

I've got another pair on the needles for another sister-in-law at the moment.

Best thing? These projects are complete stash busters - no new dinero spent. YAY.

P.S. Christmas is only 110 days away! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I'm so behind! Looking forward to posting around here more often...I must catch up!

Oneredboot - I love the colors too! So. tempted. to. keep. these. But I mustn't! The pictures do not do those two yarns justice. Very pretty!

Here's a quick project I did tonight, inspired by this post: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=358053.0

I used an old wallpaper sample, a frame that had been housing a rapidly fading picture my cousin's kid drew about 9 years ago, and letter stickers.  I think it came out cute and will make a nice funny gift for a friend for Christmas.

This is my version:

Okay peeps - I've got the fever now!

I made two more nature cans for my nephews. I am going to make one more for my little niece. Four total, all for kids under the age of 10.

Yeah! Two more gifts down!

So cute, Stoliedina!  I bet the kiddos will love 'em!

I was inspired by you and oneredboot to make socks . . . but I had to cheat and use thick yarn because of my limited patience.  I found a pattern for "Comfy Socks" on Ravelry and . . . drum roll please . . . here are two items, made by me within the same calendar year, that match!  Yay:

And I was inspired by an article in Green Crafts Magazine to upcycle a thrift store leather jacket into a purse.  I don't think I will give it away because it is sooo far from perfect.  But I learned a lot about purse construction through it.  I posted it in the purses bags and wallets reconstructed thread, if you want to see.

Anyway, peace and solidarity in holiday crafting!

They look lovely - and I like your purse a lot as well.
Stoliedina - the nature cans looks pretty. But how are the kids going to use them? Tgey are not for drinking, rigth?
