I don't have my "collection" housed in anything good, actually, but a canvas/plastic box thing that fits them all so I can thumb through and look at funny stuff. I have a tendency to pick them up from places I've visited and also at thrift stores or old antique places. I also really love vintage cards from other countries like some of my favorite "visit Greece!" postcards from the 70s where folks have huge mustaches and are wearing awesome clothes.

Smiley I can't wait to see what folks send out!

I don't think I've ever come across postcards in any of my thrift stores. You guys must live in really good places.

Only 3 days left!! Sign up before we get full.  I really hope we get 24.

Where do you usually buy your postcards?  Do you have a favorite in your collection?

Gerbilgal, if we don't fill up, I'm more than happy to do 2 groups for you.

That is a good idea. I will do that. If we don't fill up and don't mind being in two groups. Let me know.

I'll swap for postcards, badges, maps or brochures from everywhere in the US! I'm an English teacher and always happy about authentic material for my classroom.

I live in NYC but I used to live in Oklahoma, and I think the best places are actually garage sales (boot sales in the UK!) and thrift stores where only little old ladies or men donate stuff... A few times, I came across really neat hand-collaged stuff at a garage sale in Texas, but rarely do I come across affordable cool stuff in NYC.
