Well, gee, now don't those tulips look familiar? lol

Wink  Your Tulip Throw post is what actually clued me in to the fact that I had just made a block filled with tulips. But, I think the tulip "petals" are made with a different stitch.

oh, and I like the new square, it looks great in the colors you chose!

Thanks! And, it works up pretty quick. It took me just over 2 hours including weaving in the ends (and I'm sure that many of you will be able to cochet it much more quickly than I did).

I'm a bit behind, but not too bad. Yet!
Here's my March square. I modified it because the first attempt ended up way too wavy. This one is better, but still has a touch of waviness. I hate that!

And here's the March ravelry square in progress. I'll finish it tonight, but wanted to photograph it during the day.

And thanks again to some very generous Craftster friends for their donations. I am now able to continue on making squares for my aunt's blanket!!

Lovely! And, I'm so glad you were able to get more yarn (another reason I love Craftster so much Wink ).

I think I need to re-do my February block (well, take out a round) or maybe it was March, and then get caught up on the Ravelry blocks. At least I'm staying on top of the Craftster blocks Wink

yeah, Craftster-ers are the best!

I can't remember if I posted it anywhere, but I did rip out several of my blocks because I didn't care for something about how I did them. So I'll be redoing some as I go along. So this blanket for my aunt may not be a May birthday gift, but a Christmas gift instead!

Playswithneedles, your squares are amazing.  I love the colors together.

I finally caught up with all my squares for the CAL.  Here are the photos.

Wow, love2teach! What an awesome looking set of squares! I love how you've used the Ravelry 6" squares to make a 12" block, and I love the color combos you've used, too!

Thank you Smiley  I am amazed at how well they came out.  A few a kind of wonky, but once they are blocked and joined they should square up.  I'm not sure if I'm going to make one giagantic blanket with all 36 squares or two blankets with 18 squares each.

Can you divide them into 2 distinct color groups/sets? Then you could 2 0f 18. But, I really like the idea of one giant blanket to represent the year!

Did I post this yet? My Easter Day square, which took almost a month. Roll Eyes Stupid 12 inch blocks take so long, especially when you have to add extra rounds.

Excuse the unwoven ends.  Embarrassed Embarrassed
