As I picked up the bag of leftover yarn from this CAL, I realized I never posted the picture of the completed blanket! My mom took the picture- she took a picture of the back side because it makes the un-matching seams less obvious. I did a sc join on the front because I didn't have a white border on each block and I didn't like the way the stitches showed on the front when I stitched them together on the back sides. Instead, I have obviously mis-aligned seams... but I'm okay with that for my first ever completed blanket! Grin

I used 11 Craftster squares and the only Ravelry square I did (January). I still have the square that had all of those fbdc stitches and I plan to make a pillow out of it. I may keep the pillow here, or I may bring it down to stay with the blanket the next time I head south Wink

Thanks! I'm happy it's done, even if it did take me until the last day of my vacation to get it finished. I used it on the bed that night (even though with days of 80 degrees, I really didn't need it) just because I could Wink

Congrats CraftADDchick!  I love the colors.  I am still working on the 2010 squares.  Maybe I'll get it done before the end of 2011.

Oh you guys have me hooked! I plan on going back thru the back posts and redo some of these CAL's! Ive done copied all of the patterns from this thread, and will check out 2009's, 08's and maybe even on back to 07.......

If anyone gets a fire going and decides to do some type of a partial or late start 2011 one I'm in!
