So, for Christmas this year I made 40 boxes for people I know, along with 8 different types of candy/chocolate inside. Here's a completed box! (And yeah, the boxes were all hand made by me...)

(Bottom) Dark Chocolate Truffle, White Chocolate Truffle With Green Sugar, Peppermint Chocolate Truffle With Pink Chocolate, Rum Chocolate Truffle With White Chocolate, (Top) Peppermint Puffs crumbled with white chocolate (colored pink), Peppermint and popcorn with white chocolate (colored pink and white), Haystack (Chocolate covered chinese noodles), and lastly, a peanut butter ball covered with chocolate.

I made 40 of these. Here is a completed box closed.

Ta-da, all 40 xD
'

And the candy before the boxes...

^_^ I can post recipes if they are wanted.

I am so jealous of the people who get these boxes. It looks like you really put a lot of effort into these, and a lot of love.

I hit the "THIS ROCKS" button. Did you also sew the peppermint cloths that are around the box as well?

Also, yes, I would love recipes for the truffles when you have some time.

I actually hot glue gunned the ribbon together, as well as all the mini cupcake wrappers inside... I have bad insomnia so it gave me stuff to do.. But man, after 8 hours my back hurts xD The truffle's are all really easy.

1 Bag of Semi-Sweet (or white) Chocolate Chips (Or use almond bark, I like both)
1/3 cup Heavy Whipping Cream (Add BEFORE you melt chips!)
1 tsp of vanilla extract (or other extract depending on the flavor you want)

Melt chocolate with cream, (Double Boiler's do wonder...) take off heat and whisk in vanilla extract. Put in container and refridgerate for 1 1/2 - 2 hours or untll it is set up (The consistency of fudge so to speak). After it has set up, spoon out by tsp or tbs fulls and roll into a ball. At this point you can either roll it in sugar, chocolate powder, powder sugar, dip in chocolate, drizzle chocolate, roll in nuts, the list goes on! Smiley

Hope that helps. o___o

Those are totally awesome - if my family weren't super healthy and didn't eat chocolate - I'd make those right away!

Thank you for the recipes. I hope to try them out sometime in the near future. I'll post pictures when I do.
