well since mr. tender is out...i would opt for the blue horse...not too big on the phone so..actually maybe coz i just have not been able to think too creatively abt te phone...and plus i have a ton of them...since i'am from india....we had them all over....so it;s not like something that i fancy.
but i guess i will give my whle hearted creativity if the phone is picked.

when are we going to have the final decision btw...i'ameager to start....this is my last week of the semester and i'am done with all my assignments and tests so am itching to start!

I will go with whatever the majority wants, it's not that big a deal to me.  My major obstacle with the pieces of art is that none of them seemed to be square, so if we're going to make sure everyone is doing the same size and the same scale, we should all use the same base cardstock.  We had talked about using scrapbooking cardstock, because it's relatively easy to find at scrapbook stores, or Michaels, or Jo-Anns, or Hobby Lobby, or just about any craft store, and it already comes in a standard 12x12 size, easy to split into 9 equal 4-inch-square pieces.

If there is a better idea for how to make sure everyone makes the same size in a rectangular shape that evenly divides into 9, then let's hash that out.  I couldn't figure out how to make the rectangular art fit a square without either cutting some off or leaving a lot of blank space at the edges, which kind of defeats the idea of using the piece of famous art.

I'm NOT attached to the phone.  I don't care all that much.  I can get inspired by whatever -- in fact, I find it a fun challenge to make something out of something I don't initially think is interesting.  I usually surprise myself when I do that (that's what makes the Let Me Make Your Craft swaps interesting)

Okay.  I couldnt get that phone that everyone likes, to be square without distorting the image, so I found a couple of other phone images that I could get to fit, and also I found a couple of the artwork images that fit.  So please see if we can try to pick one of these.  Its hard to find an image that will fit the gridlines, it has to be perfectly square.  These were some of the images that did not distort so much.

(kinda a joke, hehe)

I like the toaster actually the more I look at it, how it has the refection thing going on.  But anyway... are any of these interesting?  I hope so... I want to get started soon.

I think my first choice would be the phone that is directly under the toaster....second choice is the toaster, so I'd be completely happy with either.
