I have given the knitting a rest and gone through my book stash. My goal is to hav a pile as high as a magazine. I am about 3/4 of the way there. And now I have a box worth of space.

sorry it took so long.  It's only been 15 days since I haven't bought new stash, but help!!  I'm starting to wear down!!!  Anyway, here are the projects that I have been able to finish.  The bead flowers were dangerous!!  I stuck my thumb with the wire and about and about an 1/8 inch piece broke off inside my thumb.  Thanks Dr. Jon for taking care of that!!

I confess that I am going to the store after work today to get more yarn....It has been two weeks into the year and I am already weak...but, it is for an immediate project and someone is paying me for it, so I think it is OK..right? Cheesy

omg momcuellar -- hope you are ok!  and you sure got a lot of projects done!!!

I did a few projects like that last year.  I kinda bent the rules by knitting them immediately before the yarn ended up in my stash basket.  Therefore I wasn't technically adding to my stash, right?  A convenient loop-hole, really.

I did not, and likely will not, read through all 26 pages.  BUT, I love the idea of creating from my stash, and I am totally in for this. Smiley

So I went through my paper stash, and my stamping and scrapbooking things and pulled out things to have a mini yard sale. I mean really,  just how much card stock and scrapbook paper can I use in one life time.  I reduced my card stock and scrapbook paper by 2 thirds.  I also sold some stamps, water colour pencils that I have never used, chip board monograms, according booklet blanks.  I plan to go through my craft room and pull out more items to sell and have another mini yard sale.  So far I have made $50.00  and have not bought a single crafty thing.

To reduce my paper stash even more.  I have made some invitations to my BBQ that I am holding on Sunday.

Because I am still in the Christmas crafting mood I have been working on tree ornaments. Photos for them will come soon.

I have made a flock of these from stash to fit in with the january themes of white and birds Smiley I have got a snow/winter tree in my dinning room to house seasonal themed decorations and half a dozen little birds are hanging from it now. this is the first time I have tried to post pictures so Im really sorry if its too huge or something!

Edited to say Momcueller I love the beaded flowers and what is the fairy thing? I love fairies.

Im finding it hard too, trying to stay away from fabric shops! Be strong!!

Such pretty doves and invites!

tlh878- welcome aboard.  Can't blame you for skipping reading it all (that's time that could be spent crafting, after all).  But if you find yourself in need of inspiration, there are "themes" on the first page.

I've got a few little bags to show.  (well actually two small and one large).

I'm particularly fond of the green one, as it is just the right size for small knitting projects, or a paperback and sandwich, and its made from just a fat quarter.

That's probably all the sewing I'll get to do for a while.  I'm back at school, and didn't have room for much stash in my suitcase...But I still have plenty of yarn to get through.
