Aw, I love the little blanket for the zebra! That's an important toy Cheesy

I've been so busy with life stuff (lots of work shifts, grad school applications, buying a car) that I haven't really had a chance to take the weekly 40% off coupon into Micheal's. I haven't yet bought a craft supply in 2010! Wow.

Milady - I am sorry but I really did laugh out loud about your lilac wool nightmares - its like you are doomed to use up never ending yarn. Oh dear!

Laughing lark - cool horse blanket, our toy horses in this house also wear blankets (because our real horses do). My mother used to make horse rugs for My Little Ponys when I was small - out of felt and embroider their names and symbols on them. That would be a good stash busting project that I might copy.

Can a latecomer play too?  Just joined Craftster because of the recycled bag challenge, and this de-stashing is something that might actually force me to (gasp) organize my craft hoard.  Guess I know what I'm doing this weekend!

I am currently working on a doll to enter into a competition and luckily everything I need is in my stash.  I was in danger of heading to the local craft store (Spotlight) because I needed dye to dye the lace for the doll's costuming. However I went though my stash and I already have the dye I need.  Good thing.  It's never a good idea to go to Spotlight as I always by more than what I originally intend to buy.

Running total on my mini stamping/scrapbooking yard sale $106.50

You know Quazicat... I threw away a lot of dye when I moved from Ca. It was messy, and I didn't feel like dealing with it. now, I really wish I had it, because I have things in mind!
Glad you had what you needed, and were able to stay out of that store.
Does anyone have any knowledge of using food coloring and food iems for dying? I suppose I should check out that board... I need some lavender dye. Grape juice? water-color paints?
any oter ideas?

She sure has! And I've helped her use some of it as well. Smiley I have pics to post and hope to get to that in the next few days.

I've slowly been working on stuff made from my stash, but I can never figure out what to make so it drives me nuts  Roll Eyes  I finally got around to using the small thing of ribbon yarn I bought to make flowers with so when I finish those, I'll be down one. I've only made a couple things with the mountain of felt I have, but I have an idea for that.

I have not bought any craft stuff for awhile now. Whenever I get an email from Joanns for Michaels, I delete it and don't read it so I won't be tempted. The same with the fliers.

I just need to remember to take some pictures and post them!
