Small patchwork blankets are a great idea.  I'm pretty sure I can find somewhere here to donate them to!!  Thanks!!

Patchwork squares fabric shopping bags are dead easy and make a gorgeous gift. You have to line them but hey, what a way to use up lots of fabric at once!

I went through my library and found three fat quarter quilt books that I sort of forgot about and also a great fat quarter project book for making totes, aprons, etc.

I am going to be starting June with a bunch of ideas to destash and make more projects using my fat quarters!

oooo--I forgot to mention that I am so jealous of the crochet doll dresses!  I want to make some sort of new dress for my first baby doll..she is wearing a sewn christening dress now and told me she needs a nice summer dress and bonnet (all of her was pulled out by me when I was a kid!)...Cheesy

You, you sort of forgot you had craft books? *bwahahahahaha* Now that is a stash that should go down in history madame.

What are names of the books? And how big is your baby doll?

ha ha The books are low on a shelf...I keep the ones I use most right on my workspace. To be honest, they are everywhere... Sad

M'Liss Rae Hawley is a favorite quilter of mine...I have" Fat Quarter Quilts" and "More Fat Quarter Quilts"...the other book is called "When Quilt Designers Think Small"--all the projects use fat quarters or less...also, "Sew Special Fat Quarter Gifts"!  I have bookmarks in things I have always wanted to make...

My doll measures 14"...I took  a few pics...the doll is my first given to me by my nanny when I was in Germany...so she is about 52 years old! Cheesy

I made the dress, bloomers and hat in 1997...so she needs a new dress!

Here is her poor head:

A lovely crochet dress or maybe a velvet dress--that would use up a bit of stash!

I bought bead and elastic, but both are for specific projects that will be done this week so it's not really adding to stash, and I was out of nice beads for adult jewellery, so that's all I bought.

My niece destashed fabric scraps by making blankets for her baby dolls.

Looking for Sophia the first fabric and Frozen fabric (preferably flannel, but would settle for cotton) and Phoomph.  I'm in Canada and the companies are that I could order from charge $20-$30 shipping, so if anybody can find some and wants to swap/sell, I would be eternally greatfull.

Oh, she's cute Always. Except for her hair. Oops. I gave my baby doll some "vaccinations" with a fork in the belly when I was about 3. Poor girl, she pees from many places now.
Hey, did you know you can re-hair her? Those girls that recon the little ponies have tutes on that and doll hair is easy to find. Maybe that's a fun new project you can add to your to-do list!

I can't even believe this but I have another PILE of stuff to get rid of! Where does all this crap come from, somebody tell me please so I can plug up that hole in my life. Sheesh.
I've gone through the craft books too and about half of them aren't worth keeping. Only a few pages to scan and then off to the thrift store with them, buh-bye. There's a bunch of fabric too that I just don't think I'll ever use. I bought it all for skirts and dresses but now that it's warm I realize how hot some of this synthetic stuff is, especially if I have to line it, double ugh. It's outta here. I feel bad just getting rid of it like that but honestly, this finding people to mail supplies to is as much of an obsession as collecting it is! I've gotta break these habits, they're weighing me down.

Mine doll is all vinyl..but she lived in my parents basement for many years and parts of the vinyl turned black with icky mold! Her eyes are clouded and don't open and shut properly...I thought about trying to fix her hair, but making hats seemed easier! Cheesy

I really admired the outfits you made your doll collection, momcueller--besides this doll, I have quite a few that have no clothing at all...I will add it to my destash list to make clothes for them!
