I made a Luna scarf. Well, actually I made 4, but only got pictures of one of them. I wish I had gotten a picture of the navy blue one I did because it looked really good with the pattern (I used a tutorial from the tutorial list of scarves on here). Oh well, here's the one I made for my cousin! Smiley

Here's the pattern for the scarf. I didn't really have any problems with the pattern, it was quite well written and understandable! And I'm not usually able to follow patterns. Most of the time I can't understand them so I get fed up and make my own pattern up on the spot. ha ha. Kudos to pinkleo though, it was a great pattern and I plan to use it again next year for more gifts!

I ended up making one for my cousin, one for my best friend, one for my quilt teacher and one for my sister in law. They make great gifts! I bought some more yarn to make myself one. Hopefully I'll get around to it but often times I never end up finishing whatever I'm making for myself. Well, happy new year!

Beautiful! I've been wanting to try out Pinkleo's pattern for a while to make myself one- but making things for myself has been on the back burner. I'm going to add this to my 50 in 2010 list!

Thanks Pixie, it's a great project to do.

heh, it was a good pattern! I took it with me in the car on a 9 hour ride and made one up in half the time!

it's pretty much my favorite scarf ever.  i really like that it's so long.  short scarves get on my nerves.  i don't like things tight on my neck, so they have to be long enough to wrap around loosely.

Exactly, I feel the same way. Plus I think they just look better. Especially with the way I like to wear mine. I'm glad you like it!
