My son was born back in November, and I'm only now getting pics of the stuff I've knit for him.

The Totoro Bonnet came first.  Taught myself the figure eight cast on and knit it up between other projects for a craft sale.  The eyes are single crochet circles I stitched on, rather than baubles.
Pattern:  Top Down Bonnet with Anime Character by Adrian Bizilia
Yarn: Dale of Norway/Dalegarn Heilo on 3.25mm needles

Next was the Big Bad Baby Blanket by Lisa Shobhana from Debbie Stoler's Stitch n' Bitch, knit using Sirdar Country Style 4 Ply gifted to me by my sister-in-law and fellow knit addict.  Despite picking up the wrong size of needle (5mm instead of 5.5mm) the gauge worked out perfectly.

Lastly are the 1st pair of booties I ever knit, which I took too long to knit and now don't fit.  Knit using the Sirdar Country Style 4ply on 2.75mm needles, I should probably have used a 3 or 3.25mm instead.  These are a really speedy knit, knit flat then stitched up, when not tending a newborn.

Pattern: Saartje's Bootees by Saartje de Bruijn

Love the pics and the projects.  I think your little guy is adorable.  I have the pattern for the booties, and thought it looked complicated...I'll have to pick it up and try it!  Thanks for sharing!
