Was there a particular kind of paint you used?  And are the markers permanent (like Sharpies)?

I just used normal kids poster paints from my local 1 shop, I used a black Sharpie for all of the outline stuff, and some Pentel Metallic Brush pens like these for some of the other bits.

I just kinda bodged my way through, I'm gonna make some for our tree this year and already know how I'd make them better and neater, and I plan to put a thin coat of pva glue or something over them when they're dry just to seal them.

Thanks so much, it's made from the plastic lid/cap from an aerosol spray paint can.  Took a while to find one the right size!
