Okay, so I suddenly got this idea in my head after learning how to single crochet in back loops only. I will post a tutorial if anyone is interested, but really it's very simple Smiley
the scarf:

and the tassels I added to the end:

Thanks for looking!

I love rainbow stuff. I have been meaning to make a rainbow scarf for a long time now but I lack the patience. Great Job!  Grin

So nice to look at something w/color in the midst of winter. I'm just starting to learn crochet myself, only know how to do granny squares.

Great job!

oh wow its lovely Smiley  hehe I did something like that once with every other row was a back loop so it made these awesome ribs on only once side Smiley

how many rows did you do of each color?

I Love the Ripple-y-ness of  the texture.  And rainbows are always a hit.  What yarn did you use?  It looks like Simply Soft Brites. I Love that stuff!

Nice job  Grin

Thank you so much everyone! I encourage all who have ever wanted to make a rainbow scarf to do so! It's a lot of fun Cheesy This scarf only took me about 4 hours overall.

how many rows did you do of each color?
I did two rows of each color Smiley that way each color "pops" against the one next to it.

You got it right! I love simply soft Smiley Most of it was just the plain simply soft, but I also used brights and eco. However I tend to throw the brand tags in the garbage soon after unraveling a new skein so it's hard to remember which is which.
