Here are some things I made for my mom this Christmas and thought I would share  Smiley

crocheted Gingerbread House:
When I saw the article listing on Ravelry, I knew I had to make this gingerbread house! I did a lot of modifications to it, but only because I wanted it to be the way mom would like it without making a ton of mini gumdrops.
here's the magazine's version:
http://www.crochettoday.com/crochet-patterns/stitchy-gingerbread-house
and here's my version:

I used a darker yarn by Red Heart and a bunch of random colors from Caron Simply soft.

The second gift is a curly scarf:

There was also a pattern in the Crochet Today! Nov/Dec issue for a scarf like this, and I finished it with that pattern but started with the one from Lionbrand Yarn http://www.lionbrand.com/patterns/80443AD.html

And third was this cute popcorn garland:

I'm sorry I don't have a better photo, I just wanted to get this out there Smiley
I got the pattern for the popcorn (so fun to play with, by the way!) from ravelry (here: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/popcorn-play-food), but it's a free pattern you can find here http://milehighmonkeys.com/freestuff.aspx

Thanks for looking! I really enjoyed making these gifts, and my mom loves them!
C&C welcome Smiley Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and will have a happy new year!

I love all of it! The gingerbread house is definitely my favorite, but I really like the other two as well. How long is the popcorn garland?

Love the house. But the popcorn garland is just too cute. I will have to give it a try. Thanks for posting the pattern link.

Thanks everyone! Cheesy
How long is the popcorn garland?
It's about 5 ft long. Lots of space between the popcorn and some little red berries I crocheted to the yarn I strung them on.
