You must work with some pretty cool people to make them such an awesome gift! Did you work from photos or memory? I love how each face is so distinctly different (thats the point, I know.) It shows how talented you are at picking up on the tiny details of the human face.

Wow. The more I look at the various crafts on Craftster, the more I want to retire from my day job and be a permanent crafter (and teacher of crafts) ... roflol.

The only purpose of the day job is to buy the craft supplies!! Cheesy  Seriously, I LOVE making personalized crafts. I now have a line of hand-crafted fans and notecards using the Zentangle (R) technique. I have also become a Certified Zentangle Teacher and teach other artforms and techniques.

Thanks for all of the compliments.  I had so much fun doing these. Since I was making these as secret gifts I had to discretely gather photos to use.  All of my "subjects" have facebook pages so I was able to get most photos from there.  The hardest part was finding photos of their profile which is pretty important.  And I work with amazing people... you know they are great when they appreciated the gifts.... they spent about 30 minutes snapping photos of all of them and laughing while doing so.... Thanks for all of the encouragement!

These are incredible - you have serious sculpting talent.  They're beautiful caricatures.  This rocks!

Amazing quality!  This is your first time working with polymer clay?  Wow.... just wow!

Would you/Could you post pictures of the real people with their clay figures?  That would be really cool to see.

Tell them inquiring Craftster minds want to know!

Most excellent work there, kiddo, most excellent work.
