Meet my Soccer Star! I finally finished him though he was meant to be a birthday present for my boyfriend (3 weeks ago!).  The pattern is based on the Build Your Own Rockstar from SnBN, but I changed it to make a little replica of my boyfriend in his soccer uniform.

Details are on my blog, including a pic of the snuggly twosome.

OMG!!!!! How cute! I admire him. I had the same problem. I made socks for my boy's birthday, and they were a week late! I knitted like a mad fiend that last week, trying to finish them!

I like the personal touch on your doll. Very nice.

My alarm clock still holds a grudge from the time I threw it at the wall

Wow! I thought this was super cute already... then I went to your blog and saw your boyfriend holding it and it's even cuter now that i've seen it's owner.
Nice job Mojisha!

Your boyfriend looks as sweet as the soccer star you knitted!  You did an amazing job!

Thanks guys!  I'm really glad I'm not the only one with a little punctuality problem.   Wink
The pattern was pretty fun. Now I want to do a Robert Smith (the Cure) doll for me.

Oh my god--the resemblance is uncanny!  Way to go!  And this way, if he ever misbehaves, you _already_ have a voodoo doll to stick pins into!

Shocked  It looks exactly like him!!  That is freakin' awesome...I'm tempted to make one for my boy, but I don't know if he'd get it, lol.  Maybe if I made him a doll of me to keep him company (we're in an LDR)...  Anyways, once again, awesome likeness and awesome skills!

The resemblance is uncanny! I would never have thought to knit a doll for my hubby, but now I've got ideas runnying through my head. Thanks for the inspiration! Oh, and I knitted a sweater for hubby for our 10th anniversary but he only got it on the 10 1/2.
