heres a nice big piece of felt, that has a colourful detail on it.
i really love it, it took ages and ages, and its finally ready. it was supposed to be a big pillow, but i love it just as a wall hanging

i would like to try sell this piece, but im not sure how to price it, as ive never sold any felt piece like this before (*usually i sell hats). any advice on a price would be very appreciated!

Great job!
I love the design and the colours.
It would indeed make a great pillow. No second thoughts about that?

That is really lovely! I could see it as a pillow, but if it were mine I'd hang it. No clue what something of that nature would sell for. Maybe search on etsy?

It's a beautiful piece. What kind of paint did you use, and did you use a fabric medium? If you didn't use fabric paint or medium with your paint I would probably use it for a wall hanging for fear of it not holding up well to being handled. I would pay $40 US but if it were mine I would try to get $75 US. I love it! Thanks for sharing.

Wow! I think I would still use it on the wall. That's fantastic! I have no idea what you could get for it. I guess it depends on how much you think it's worth.

Great felt!  Did you use yarn for the outlines?

I've sold wetfelted wallhangings, and priced smaller/less detailed pieces at $60+ and sold them easily at the local guild sale. I'd price it aggressively, if I were you, especially given the size and complexity, and keep the "painting" label.

piskie-mishkie, how many grams of wool roving did you use for the background?

need to reply a bit,

to ptarmic wumpus- thank you Smiley, i used white yarn for  the white outlines. but for the rest of the outlines i just twisted my roving and needle felted it (*needle a bit, twist and needle some more.. until i went all around. easy to add the roving as one goes along, incase origianlly didnt pull enough). my yarn was too thin and difficult and timeconsuming to needle felt. thats why i did it roving way..

to Aliped, thankyou too Smiley,
I need to get back to you on that, as I am not sure. I used brown, green, orange, and i think even red roving. so I dont remember what size bat I went through, as it was from many different bats of different sizes.
BUT I will go and weigh it, and hope that will be ok?

Just surfing around etsy, it seems like there are a lot of smaller and less intricate felt wall art pieces prices around $30-50.  This one is awesome, I would say $80, at least!
