Foot Wallet?

I just got a brother SE-350 for Christmas- one drawback is that there is no storage in the flat bed attachment- all the extra feet and accessories came in a small vinyl bag- Immediately I knew I needed a better system I did not want to  dump out the vinyl bag and search through everything, every time I need to change feet-so I came up with this:

A wallet to hold all the extra feet, here it is closed



and opened


the letters correspond to the letters on the feet and are display on the LCD readout whenever you change stitches the machine tells you which foot to use by letter

the letters are also on the pockets as well- I pleated the pocket that contains the embroidery foot as it is rather bulky-

I keep my feet in the storage in the machine and in a box in a drawer, which doesn't work out too well when I'm looking for a specific foot. This is a much better idea! I really like it!

I don't have a sewing room My machine lives in a sewing bag with wheels, I set up wherever I can find space, some days it's the porch, the dining room table and occasionally in the living room- and my New sewing machine has no storage so I try to figure out a way for all my accessories to fit into my sewing bag- hence the foot wallet

I have that same machine and same problem so all my extra feet and stuff are living in the plastic bag they came in:( I love your idea, putting the letters on the corresponding pocket is a genius idea!!!! Wonderful job!

This is a GENIUS idea!! I've wanted a "bib" for my sewing machine for a while, something for it to sit on that hangs over the edge and has pockets for tools and such. I think I'll incorporate spots for my three most used presser feet now! Thanks for the brilliance, *this rocks*

Looks like you got a great way to store those feet!  I'm fortunate that most of my feet fit on the machine - there are slots for them up on top for the most common ones (at least what Janome thinks is commonly used ones) sadly my walking foot doesn't fit up there.  I should really check to see if if fits in the storage compartment... or else I might be making a cozy as well
