For the December Birthday swap, My first attempt Addictd2rachyp00's favorite colors are green and purple.

Closures and zippers are my next sewing stepping stone.

I also love purple and green Smiley. The fabric you chose is really beautiful. What did you make the straps out of?

For the straps I made a crochet chain about 1/3 longer than I wanted it and then crochet chained it again. I attached with buttons to the outside. I have some purse handles that were given to me and will try to figure out how to attach them to a bag. I have a lot of projects in mind already for 2010.  But I have 5 poppets I HAVE to make, so I need to get motivated.
