small side project to help out a friend... she has started a small business involving male waiters wearing minimal clothing Tongue

I helped with the cuffs and collars!! I am counting it as a project, even though it definately wasnt on my original list.

Special thanks to my DH for modelling them for me, before I post them off

That quilt is sweet.  Hand quilting is such an art.  I am very impressed.

The quilt is definitely lovely...I love that you handquilted it...it does take a lot of time but the look is so special!

Also, what an unusual project you did for your friend! HA HA Now, I want to go to that restaurant! Wink

I agree it's a sweet quilt.  And I am curious to know about the rest of those waiters' uniforms...  Anyway, I don't want to cry it out, just in case, but it looks as if my connexion has got back to normal.  So I've tried to upload my last finished item, and it's worked!

The panorama:  little money, cold feet, lots of yarn a friend's just given me.
The result:

A pair of crocheted moccasins!  And I am really happy with them!  The link will take you to the project with a bigger pic.  I love, love, love them!

I Love those moccassins too, Soorawn. I can't believe you JUST learned to crochet!

BTW, I just bought a couple patterns from Pixieval on ETSY. She had a couple coat/jacket patterns my size! It looks like I'm going to get that Purple Wool fabric used! Yea! And one of them hat a cute hat pattern!

Just took these pics: This is my next LARGER PROJECT:
For my daughter, Crystal's new studio apt.
As soon as I can get the materials; I am going to make new cushions for this:

This shows the frame:back view:

Here is the stool frame, the main frame is built the same way. See how it all just hangs in the air? Way Comfortable!

This is not going in the house until finished. The canvas is dirty, and the foam is going to be replaced too!
I'll post in the interior decorating thread when it's finished!

It is like an oversized director's chair!  I bet the fabric and stitching has to be reinforced...I wonder what the weight limit is?  I have one chair that came with a tag that said it could only hold about 250 pounds...looks like a challenging project!

Here is a tote I made for a friend.  She loves black and red together so she is one of my favorite people to make things for!

The bottom is a sturdy red vinyl.

The inside is lined with a nice silky fabric...it has a zippered pocket on one side and a slip in cell phone pocket on the other.
