Haha! I wish. 19 was right. I accidentally forgot to close on of my strikeouts and it struck out everything. I fixed it now.  Embarrassed

OK--I managed two horrid pics, but two big projects!

I finally have a shawl!  It is crochet with crochet flowers sewn on the back...I will take a picture of the back and post it in the crochet thread.

I also made my Mom a caplet for Christmas.  I am making more of these to take to the nursing home for the women in wheelchairs--it is a perfect size for them and easy to put on and take off.

Ooo those are very nice, and such a noble deed Alwaysinmyroom.  I love the colors of both of them and that caplet for your mom looks so comfortable.

Thanks!

It is from Crochet World and is one size fits all!  So easy and fast, using bulky yarn and a size N hook...my crazy girlfriend has made three so far...I am working on two more...I was told that Alzheimer patients prefer brighter colors so I am using pinks and yellows for them...a bit loud for my taste but if it makes them happy, YAY!

I will post better pics in the morning with better light!

Always don't forget to post the link when you post in the crochet thread, I really want to see the back.

Made an apron, nothing fancy but now hopefully I'll remember to wear it and save some of my clothes from stains. The "fabric" is made from some ribbon I bought for a dollar, I just sewed it together.

What?  You sewed up all that ribbon!?  What an idea!  Is it washable ribbon?

I am always looking for new apron ideas...and a way to use up stash ribbon I buy on sale!

Cute!

I decided not to post the shawl on the crochet board since it was my first shawl...but here is the back with my flowers (I have the toughest time figuring out the patterns for flowers, so I only made a few)

Prrrretty!  And I love the capelet, really!
I have finished two things today.  A guitar strap and a basket for the clothes pegs.  The basket is outside, I'll take a pic tomorrow, but the strap is here.

Both are simple, functional items.  The basket is made of plastic canvas sewn with fishing line and I made it in no time.  The strap has a lot of errors but the practice has helped me a lot to understand cables.  I lined it with a strip of cotton cloth.  Let's hope it'll help me too with the guitar - it keeps slipping on my legs!
