Everyone's stuff is great! I've been away from the board for awhile, but hope to get lots of stuff done in the next couple of weeks. I did get a few things done since my last post and will be posting pics later this week.

BethieB- I just had to comment on your great show choice- I noticed that American Pickers was on in the background of your lamp pic. I love that show!! That lamp turned out super cute, btw!

thank you e!  We LOVE American Pickers.  They crack me up, and also make me hopeful that somewhere in my piles of junk is something someone else would actually want, lol!

I am sooo close to being done with my next project.  The paint is drying as we speak.  It's turquoise but it didn't used to be, and that's all I'm saying for the moment!  Smiley

I've been finishing some stuff and also did a couple of soap savers for my flatmate and his mother.  He's leaving soon and will spend some time with her before coming back to the UK, so I thought I'd make something as a goodbye present and something that would cheer her up.  The white one is for her, the back is moss stitch.  The black one is identical and is for him.

The other stuff I already mentioned it.  The white fabric is the devore sample, and it got stained involuntarily with the felt bangle, which isn't properly dry yet -I didn't foresee this! I just change the bangle's position from time to time to stain the velvet a bit more and see if it looks good.  Experimenting...
That death of rats is my third and last, and it's a Christmas present for my nephew.  I've already decided what else to give him (hoorray!!!) so I might as well start the package and send it as soon as it's ready.  To avoid being late as usual.
The bag is to live inside the other big one at the back of the pic.  It's doing a good job (both are).  And this month I intend to work on WIPS and also make socks - when I get the needles I want for that.  It's nice to finish stuff and be able to put all the bits away and use/send the thing at last!

ETA better pic of Death of Rats.  I like this guy!

I finished my haunted house pillows, in time for Halloween too! I'm rather proud about that, lol. I got the idea from a project on joanns.com only theirs were felt and sewn. I decided to use what I had on hand instead, so I drew some haunted houses onto freezer paper and stenciled it, then sewed and stuffed.

soorawn I love the little death rat.

And those zombies... I can't believe I'm saying this, but... they're cute.  Yes they are.
