BB: I like your thread and tool rack. What are the spools attached to?
It's a cute colorful , and functional piece.
Kwiltykate... Beautiful Baby Blanket! Love pastels, and the white bands really give it a fresh look.

The spools are slid onto pipe cleaners that I have had laying around for forever.  The pipe cleaners are then threaded through eyelet screw things on the top and the bottom.  I just pulled the pipe cleaner out of the one on the top when I need one of my spools of thread.

Is pipe cleaner even what those things are called anymore?  It's probably not the correct term...they are the fuzzy things on bendable wire.  lol.

Thanks for liking it guys!  It adds a lot of functionality.  Now everyone knows where to go to grab a pair of scissors when they need 'em, and more importantly, where to put those babies when they are done with em!  Cheesy

I never even thought of the safety factor!  I bet everyone is happier to be able to find a pair of scissors when needed!  Just make sure everyone knows to put them back... Cheesy

Thanks waggonwest---the socks are mainly done like that to keep from slipping during the poses while still keeping most of the foot warm especially in our very cold winters!  I am doing a separate post on them because...they started out as hand warmers... Cheesy

Ok, installment number 3.

Just another ticket bowl.  I made this for the fourth of July.  It has six white stripes, seven red stripes and 13 stars around the border.

I made these cars to sell at a local craft show.  I made 40 of them and sold all of them.  They are tiny and I call them pocket cars because they fit in a kid's pocket.

And another floppy disk project, a picture frame.  This was supposed to be a rainbow, but my granddaughter made off with the only purple disk I had.  So I fudged a little.

I haven't had much time for browsing the thread, but from what I've been able to look at, everybody is really busy and getting some awesome things done.

I love the picture frame!

The ticket bowl is so interesting...which reminds me...did you receive your patent for your gorgeous white bowl process?  I just think that was such a beautiful bowl...

No patent yet.  The lawyer says it may take a couple of years.  I guess they have to research it to make sure I'm the first one to do it.  I'm willing to wait for it.

The lady who received the frame is very happy with it.  She says it hangs in her office.  She's in real estate.

OK, FINALLY finished another item on my 50 list.  My sewing machine cover!  It turned out a little big, but that's OK.  I added a pocket on the outside (saw it in my 1 Yard Wonders book) so I can toss some misc things in there so my desk won't look cluttered if I'm in the middle of a project...clippers, spools of thread, seam ripper, etc.  I have more yardage and am going to make a matching serger cover too.

I've also gotten more of my craft room organized by weeding out some books I've already read and don't want to keep and threw away 3 binders of old college work I was keeping in case I ever wanted to refer to it (web design stuff); things have come so far since 2002 I don't think any of it would be relevant now.  I included a couple craft books I wasn't going to use in a GnN package as well, so I have more space for new craft and sewing books!  Also, after packing TWO GnN boxes, donating some outdated patterns and fabric that I haven't been able to give away for a few years as it was never wanted by anyone, I have 1/2 of a wall free where it used to be 100% covered in boxes/bags/piles!  YAY!  I have one more large plastic tote of fabric/supplies to go through and wash and put away and a shopping basket of eBay stuff to sell or donate if no sale and then I will be 90% complete!!  The other 10% is picking up and packing up some random piles, mending or selling some things hanging on my closet doors, and hanging the large stack of crafted wall art I have received/made/purchased.  I'm so close I can TASTE IT!  Oh, wait, that's just the Coca Cola I'm drinking...but I know victory will soon taste oh so sweet as well Grin  LOL!

Good for you Saph.  I love the fabric on your sewing machine cover.  It would make me so happy to look at I might not ever take it off the machine!
