A Christmas in July would be fun! Definitely would get my motivated to start on some gifts for this year!

SarahJ you are putting us all to shame Smiley I love those lamps! I sent a link to the picture to my mom. I have an 8 year old brother who has a wacky sense of decor and would absolutely love those!

Looking for Sophia the first fabric and Frozen fabric (preferably flannel, but would settle for cotton) and Phoomph.  I'm in Canada and the companies are that I could order from charge $20-$30 shipping, so if anybody can find some and wants to swap/sell, I would be eternally greatfull.

And I made my first pair of shorts today i am so proud of myself!! Unfortunately they are too big and I cant bring in the seams so I'm going to see if they fit my sister. I will attempt another pair later that will hopefully fit me this time Cheesy

here are the "piggy packs" - yes we'll be painting a piggy, flower, and butterfly onto each pack the week.  The full post is on my blog.

I want to make a pinata for a party in August!

Did you find a tute somewhere?  I have tons of crepe paper but what is the base?  I was thinking of using paper mache but is there an easier way?

I didn't really use one tutorial in particular.  I just did 2 parts flour to 1 part water for the glue and then strips of newspaper.  I waited overnight for each layer to dry.  Someone on craftster told me that if you put on too many layers it'll be too strong but at the same time you don't want it too easy.  I ended up doing 5 layers and I think it turned out perfectly....all 20 of us got to hit it and I was the last one to go and I actually was the one to break it totally.

Um...I did put duct tape around the opening since that's where I put the holes for the rope.  I just did a layer of duct tape (just around the hole) after the 3rd and 4th layers.
