Once again, I have to thank all of you wonderful craftsters for setting such high standards.   The number and variety of projects everyone works boggle my mind.  It is really amazing to see how many different skills people have; that while you might have a favorite medium you are all willing to stretch and try new things.

So I keep slogging away...  Here it is near the end of June and I haven't managed to actually finish anything.  I am transitioning my pile from pieced tops to quilted projects that just need a binding.  I have also been working hard on getting my basement organized and finding all of my stash and other craft materials.  I am trying really hard to convince myself that if I haven't touched a project in mmmphphyty years that it is OK to pass them on.  It is easier if I know they are going to a good home.  I have a LONG way to go before I can cross off that 'organize craft supplies' item on my list.

The quilts look great ladies. I want to attempt another one, but after doing 2 twin sized plain squared quilts for my nieces I'm a little pooped out on them.

Nails look cool. How'd you get that design? Did you freehand that? Neato!

My sister loved the origami stars I made and she also loves bats, so I etched one on a jar and filled it with stars for her for her Birthday.

waggonswest I share the 'omg this is going to take forever to organize' project. I may have to make mine an all year project just to be sure it gets done and stays done!
QueenNinjaMonkey the origami star chain is awesome! So many fun colors and patterns!

Thanks guys! I found out how to do it on youtube. If you search water marbling nails a ton of video's show you how to do it. Basically you put drops of nail polish in a container of water until youve got a few different layers, and then you make a design in it with a toothpick. Then you stick your finger in it. I ended up gettin nail polish half way down my finger Some videos suggest taping your fingers and others suggest lip balm.

I moved all of the piles of fabric out of my great room today.  (It is some how bigger than I remember!)
Now I just need to come up with a storage system that allows me to see what I have.

Everyone's project looks amazing.I don't really feel like doing crafts right now.Even though I have a ton of ideas.My dh lost his job in feb. And they just now came and repo'd the car. .So I'm really down.I was thinking about doing some fall crafts since fall is only starting in 2-3 months.But now I don't know  .
