Hey Everyone,
It has been a while since I have visited this CAL but I have been working hard. I have worked up a few more dishcloths (LOL) I just can't expand my crochet skills out of the dishcloth. I think I'm going to try the crocheted frog I saw a while back. I am working on a Birdie Sling but my sewing machine is not cooperating. I also just recieved a QFK kit that I will start this weekend. I am looking forward to all of my sewing projects, I just can't wait to get started. Also, I am going on a Citizenship trip to Washington, D.C at the end of June. I want to take a bag and jewelry for every outfit I purchase etc. so I need to get going. Let me know if you have any purse patterns you are loving right now.

Please go to the tutorial section of the Purses and bags board!  There are so many nice styles!  I have never bought a bag pattern...they basically are rectangles with a few modifications!

That will be a fun trip!

Ok, so here's the briefcase in all it's glory.  It's made with 48 floppy disks.

The outside, closed up.


And the inside, with a divider in it.


This should also count as two.  It took a long time just to drill out all of the holes.

I wonder if counting it as two even comes close to the amount of time spent...the concept of it is even better...you are one of the most innovative craftsters ever!!

Thanks for the comments. 

I cannot even tell you how many hours I spent on it.  I lost track after a couple of days of fiddling with it.  And I'm still not completely satisfied with it, but it seems to work.  I loaded it up with my paperwork and it works and isn't too heavy to carry.

It may be worth more than two tickets, but I'll take two.

ha ha--you tend to only do huge projects...such grand undertakings...I feel inadequate when I count each pair of earrings as one... (JK!! I do not count each pair, but you know what I mean!)

The funny thing is that I do lots of little projects, but I have a tendency to not post them because I think of them as being insignificant.

I also never post projects that I make for my business.  Craftster should be for the love of the art, not for business.

And just for the record, every time I try to make earrings, I make a mess of it, so don't sell yourself short.

That briefcase is amazing Pinokeeo!  Wow.  I agree with Always.  You come up with the most creative innovative ideas and then follow them up by producing some truly awesome things.

That IS amazing!  And I totally hit the button, too   I just don't have the mechanics for things like that, I envy those that do.

I am more than halfway through my last swap I need to craft for and then I'm breaking.  STS centers around pre-crafted items, so I'm all good there and can just add more things as I get around to it.  I hope to be able to crank out a few goodies off my 50 list for this month and get some more tickets in the hat!
