I TOTALLY LOVE those paperweights!!  And the burger box rocks, too.  I have such a collection of ami's and it keeps growing with almost every swap, cuz I leak my secret obsession about them in each questionnaire!

I got another project done!   It's a pair of comfy pj pants.  I never had made pants from scratch before, I made a lot of mistakes but I will only wear them to bed so who cares.

The polka dots fabric is very cute.  I have some pink with flame skulls and playing cards and stuff all over it, it's cutesy not tattoo-y or pin-up-y really.  I got the rest of the bolt for $1 a yard without knowing what to do with it really, but it told me it wanted to be PJ pants the other day so I guess I will listen to my stash yet again on what it wants to be   I MAY do them today...but I dunno as there have been several pairs put in here...hmmm...I also want linen pants too, so we will see if I have enough time to do both and finish some swap goodies and start on some for another.

I just didn't feel like hemming the pants.  (I was ready to chuck my sewing machine out the window at that point)
I had no idea about crossgrain.  I am pretty new to sewing.

I love that despite all of your remodeling and refinsihing of furniture (whew--makes me tired just thinking about it!),  you still make stuff!!!

Are you posting your table in the Home and Garden section?

oh--did you see the woven purse made by Belladune?  It was pretty cool...

I will take pics and post them here once my idiot computer is working again, but I don't know if the nightstand (table) is really worthy of its own post.  I basically just sanded it and painted it and sanded it a tiny bit more to let some of the base coat show through. 

And no, I didn't see that purse, but I am off to look at it right now!  thanks for letting me know about it.  I am so glad I rememebred to check my emails today!  Still am not able to use my computer, but my sister is sharing with me right this second, she just doesn't know it yet

A non-scheduled outing took over the remains of my afternoon today, so I didn't get to those pants like I had hoped...and tomorrow we are at the beach for my girl's work picnic and then to a womens' festival downtown.  ARGH!  The interruption of it all!  Spending time with my mom is always more important than my crafts, but if I knew we would be hangin' out I would've planned my day better!  Famous last words, I know

Well, I did another project today! I made homemade lip gloss. It turned out really well and the flavors are super tangy.
Here's a pic of the bath salt, the sugar scrub, and the two lip gloss pots.

Here are the two boo boo bunnies I made. The one with the purple ribbon is for my niece's bday and the blue one for my nephew.
