Good job pinokeeo.  I should follow your example.  Instead of working outside, I stayed in where it is warm and finished quilting another practice piece.  I'll post pics later, but I'm not as happy with this one as with the first.  I think the serpentine thing is much more difficult than the flowers and leaves.  We started cutting the squares for stack and whack thing, but discovered that the squares on our cutting mat are off by 1/4 of an inch!  I know it has had a hard life, but I can't imagine it could be that far off.  It does however explain why this last quilt top is so wonky.  (That's my story and I'm sticking to it!)

envirocraft..I like the frame turned to writing board idea!  I turned an old frame into my bulletin board and love it, but I did not paint and decorate as nice as you did!  Love the flower--so crafty!

soorawn--I clicked on the link and did not see more pics of your wet tray--did you just mean more pics from your book of celtic designs?  I would like to see this project as I have no idea what it is!

I am glad I did not plant any warm weather veggies yet...we had frost last night!  My little peppers and tomatoes are in the garage, keeping warm...I have not checked my loofah and potatoes, but they are up against the house so they should be ok...I hate it when it frosts this late in spring!

Still waiting for partners to receive before I can cross some stuff off and post!

I have been making checkmarks on my spreadsheet to try to keep up with everyone's completed May projects...Smiley

I finished a project this morning: learning to purl!  We went to Half Price Books yesterday and I picked up the Knit Knack Kit by Kris Percival and have been practicing all morning.  I'm really excited that I can now actually maybe make something other than just potholders and scarves.  My ultimate goal is to learn to make socks, but I think that's a ways away yet.  But it's the first step in the right direction! That frog is ADORABLE!  REALLY hoping I can get some personal crafting done in the next couple weeks.  I have just about everything done for my random swap, have finished the SLS, and just have the owl swap to craft for.  So far I have been able to stay away from temptation for joining new swaps, even though I have been on the board scoping out any new ones...my kung fu is strong, I will prevail in dialing it back on the swapping!!

Kwilty...  I LOVE the frog!  You did a great job.  And thanks for sharing the source of the pattern.  There are a bunch of cute ones on that site.

Saph,  I admire your swappy goodness.  I'm too intimidated to jump in.

Kwilty I love that tote, it's so cute!

Here's my first project for May. A boondock saints shirt for my Hubby. All cut out on my cricut cause I'm lazy. It's my first project I used my new programs inkscape and sure cuts a lot, so it was a nice learning experience. The back was originally going to be the prayer but after fighting with the cricut (I think the font I wanted was to intricate) and the freezer paper I told my Hubby he had to pick something else so he picked his favorite quote from the movie.

Front: Not overly happy with it...I think it's how the stencil is just cut off at their wastes.

Back: Makes me giggle everytime I read it.

If anyone is interested there is talk of a Boondock Saints swap, most likely going to be sometime in June, the link is in my sig.

I need to addd more projects to my list, somethings have come up that I need to do or have been requested to do that is taking up list time.

I am amazed at how stencils look so neat and nice now...better sometimes than some of the t-shirts you can buy!

love the green with that black and your lettering is gorgeous!  I have no idea who is on the front, but cool anyway!
