I've been a little a-wol recently, my appologies.  I got QUITE a bit done off of my list, but I only have pictures of one.

This is actually for my moms curch play thing... It is the stations of the cross [ im not christian tho], and i volunteered to play the role of the devil.  The church thought the standard scary is not a correct representation of what evil is, so I will be in a short skirt, and a low neckline.  I also have to make a holocaust cloak to go with it.

[ they wont let me post pictures yet, tho so all I have are links]

I have had NO time for crafting lately because school has been so busy!  Hopefully within the next week or two I'll get back into it!  Especially that the olympics will be done (it's pretty exciting to watch when your country is hosting!)

It seems like lots of us crafters have weight loss goals...maybe that motivational craftalong wouldn't be such a bad idea! Smiley

Always great to meet a fellow canuk!  I teared up when cananda won mens hockey.

Whoop!  I actually got something done!  Shocked  Before you all faint with the shock, you should know that it was a simple thing, and all about function rather than looks, but I'm still inordinately pleased by it.  Smiley

Love the floss box!

I managed to get the tops of 4 potholders done. I think I'm going to make two more for a total of 6. And I picked up some of the stuff to do tees for my hubby this week. I also got my quilt kit in the mail this weekend (quilts for kids), but I'm thinking it will end up waiting until the end of March after kids school vaction.

I got 2 taggie blankets, 4 placemats, 1 pair of lounge pants, and 2 dyed onesies done in the last week. I also decided to scrap 2 tote bags from my WIP pile because the recipients don't need them any more. My table is looking better and the day isn't done yet!

Chicken Stuffies.  I got the idea from this post.  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=234484.0  and I modified them.   The first ones I did are the pink and purple ones a ways down thread.  I'll post my new ones with their giant hatchlings once I finish,

...so... the church thinks that the proper representation of evil is not a standard devil, but in fact a woman in a revealing red dress? Seems a little... i dunno...  Why the holocaust cloak? Is it a specific type of cloak? Or just... ?

I agree with Ariethine.  It's weird, men don't seem to mind being depicted as people whose working neurons are far lower in the body than usual.  Well, up to them.  I just don't see why the other part should be the one blamed for it...
And me thinking evil is being badly disposed against others.

My GOSH!! I wanted to finish SOMETHING during WIP week!! O.o But I didn't. I ALMOST had my purse done. All I really had to do on it was sew the handles together on the top and MAYBE topstitch. But I failed. T.T Eh... I'll finish something next week. HAVE to go home tomorrow, so I'll be getting pics like crazy of what I have done. (Including the drawing I have fallen in love with.)
